From Orlando originally, Dakota is currently based in Austin, Texas, but can often be found in an airport or new city, and is passionate about experiencing new cultures. She is a multi-hyphenate creative, strategist, and entrepreneur. 

With 6 years of professional experience, and even more time spent as a creative, Dakota is lit up when bringing creative ideas, and brands, to life. 

In her spare time, she can be found hanging out with her dog Benji, going on #HotGirlWalks, learning music production, calling her parents, and grabbing iced lattes with friends. (Pumpkin spice optional) 


 Inspired by innovative brands and technologies, Dakota is known for trendspotting, concept execution, and pushing brands she works with to test, experiment, and push the envelope—holding the creative work to a high standard. 

Currently at GSD&M, a legacy Austin agency, Dakota is an Associate Director of Social Media overseeing global organic social on the Fruit of the Loom business, in addition to advising on other accounts and supporting new business. She relaunched the brand's Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts to target a new audience, and strategized for, concepted, and launched the TikTok and Snapchat channels with the goal of speaking to Gen Z — a first-ever for the brand. 

As the first TikTok client for the agency, Dakota has paved the way for channel best practices and production processes within GSD&M, leading the creative concepting process, and independently filming and editing all content for TikTok, serving as both the creative lead and content creator.  

Dakota is alsop a passionate freelance content creator, producing content for Reset, an Austin coworking space, alongside other CPG brands, taking ideas from brief to execution.
